Wade returns to camera in a new documentary

I am delighted to officially announce that a new documentary has been commissioned. Off the back of my recently released book ‘Busby & Me’ (See Here), and the subsequent press coverage, I had assumed that was job done on this nearly two-decade old story.

The book was compiled using a very degraded DVD disc of the cut of the original documentary that was in terrible condition and couldn’t be used for much more than writing about, helping my memory, and transcribing. HOWEVER, recently all the original (assumed lost) master 8mm tapes of the original documentary have been found. We even have some after-footage about The Busby Stoop Inn, which is newly discovered.

I will return to Thirsk to tell the story of the Thomas Busby legend for the first time in nearly twenty years, allowing footage from that time to be aired in the doc. I will take you to the Inn and the museum, and open up about all that happened then, after, and the strange goings-on during the book’s creation.

Sceptic? Believer? Open Minded? … It doesn’t matter, this is a history-come mystery documentary that would still appeal to the most hardened sceptic.

So come with me on a journey to North Yorkshire, back hundreds of years ago, a tale of murder, ghosts and curses!

If you haven’t checked out the book yet, it obviously has a wealth of information that would be hard to fill into an hour-and-a-half documentary, plus some great pictures!
