I am delighted to announce that ‘The Busby & Me’ will screen three events in February in North Yorkshire. The opening premiere will be at The Ritz Cinema in Thirsk, followed by a Q&A with me. You can buy tickets here for the premiere.

‘The Busby & Me’ sees my return to Thirsk after nearly two decades and looks at the dwindling legacy of the Busby lore. At seventeen years old, in 2008, I went to Thirsk with a film crew and captured some amazing scenes inside The Busby Stoop Inn (Now defunct), and its neighbouring Thirsk Museum. My archive went missing for a long time, and as if by ‘destiny’, a few months after my book came out, the tapes turned up in the attic down South. We have now restored the original footage and combined it with new scenes of me investigating the history and legacy of the story, Thomas Busby, the alleged ‘Curse Chair’, and the events at nearby Dannoty Hall. My book was covered by the national Metro Newspaper, and the Northern Echo.

I’d be delighted if you could join us for these three, very intimate screenings of a journey I started as a boy, and have now finished all these years later. Firstly it is a historical documentary, and secondly a Paranormal one, it is for this reason I can be sure that it has something to offer Believers, the undecided and the Skeptics amongst you!
