new short ‘the lonely man of Saltburn’

Keeping you all updated, we have now completed ‘Wade on 8’ Volume II, with four new short films on the disc.

Recently, my friend Scott Colbert visited from the USA, a long over due trip after eleven years of friendship. You may have seen Scott’s name knocking about in my archive before, wether that was for some voice work in 2017’s ‘Caught in a Landslide’, or the interview he did with me for the screening special dvd disc ‘I was a Teenage Ghost Hunter’, which was given away at The Busby & Me events this year. We first met when Scott invited me to a Podcast he used to be apart of around the time I’d completed ‘TWINK’ … that’s how fucking long it’s been!

Anyhow, I digress.

Scott has been filmed as part of ‘the lonely man of Saltburn’, a new short film that looks at the isolation of aging, regret, and the potential trauma of gay men who existed through the 1980s AIDS crisis.

It’s a short, short film, clocking in at around 14 minutes – I felt the shorter the better to make the point, rather than labor the point. It’s very different in many ways to the other films in the W08 collection archive.

You can catch it super soon when the second volume is released. I’d like to think I can get these duplicated and done in time for the impending festivities.

Wade on 8 Volume II will feature –

DISCREETEST 2000 (AUDIO BOOK & VIDEO COMBO VERSION)

THE LAST PISS LADEN FERRIS WHEEL

GOOD LUCK GETTING THROUGH THIS!
