‘Discreetest 2000 is a unique Zine & DVD Movie combination from UK artist Wade Radford (TWiNK/The Busby & Me) that gently looks at the small existence of a nomadic couple, Taylor & Adam, at the turn of the millennium.

The short story is told from the perspective of fifty-year-old Taylor, who looks back twenty-five years ago at his life with his boyfriend. After reading the short story, you will be transported back to New Year’s Eve 1999 at a video made by the aforementioned couple – A DVD is supplied at the back of this zine.

Shot entirely on video, Discreetest 2000 is a meditation on life, Y2K, and love; the project as a whole celebrates physical media in a dying age where everything is becoming digital!

Director Wade Radford was reticent to release the project using modern methods, preferring instead to pay homage to a time of home videos and zines.
